Transfer a route from Plotaroute on my iPad to my Garmin Edge 530FORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

You should be able to sign in to the Garmin Connect website on your iPad and import the downloaded route from there (select Training, Courses, Import). Once it's in Garmin Connect you can use that to transfer it to your Garmin device. Unfortunately the import feature on the Garmin Connect app isn't currenlty working under the latest version of iOS, so you'll need to use the Garmin Connect website to do this rather than the Garmin Connect app.

Hi I don't have a laptop so no usb connection that I can use to physically connect my Garmin Edge 530 to my iPad.

the plotaroute directions for downloading to a Garmin edge  does not cover the wireless transfer to the more modern edges nor indeed how to get the route from plotaroute to Garmin connect when both are on an iPad

I know that it can be done but am struggling to manage.

any advice would be gratefully received.
