Hi Wolfgang - there is no way to create gaps in routes I'm afraid.  You might be better saving the sections as separate routes.

Hi, 

  I'm drawing running routes that include gaps in the middle, for instance, because there's a ferry ride along the way or a  tram up or down a mountain.  Is there an option to remove sections of the route for this purpose or is the best I can do to replace these segments with a straight line and subtract their distance manually by myself?
