Appending route sectionsFORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

Hi. I have created several sections of an expedition. I now want to 'append' them to view the whole route from day 1 to day 14. It only seems to let me append 3 sections. Is this the limit of the append feature? Thanks.

Hi Trevor - there is no limit on the number of routes that can be appended using the Combine Routes feature. Can you give me a bit more inofrmation about the problem and I'll try to help?

Thanks, John. I have saved nine of the fourteen sections. I tried to append them one at a time and for some reason, the system would not recognise route four. I have checked that it was saved in the same format as the previous sections and it was. I am completing the balance of the routes today so I will get back to you soon. Many thanks. 

Hi John. Problem solved. Section 4 did not start where section three finished. I had mapped it incorrectly. I imagine the distance between the finish of 3 and start point of 4 was too great to 'snap' together. All resolved. Thanks

Hi Trevor - yes, the start of the route you are appending does have to reasonably close to the end of the existing one. Glad its all sorted.
