Hi Mike - you can enter GPS coordinates in the "Locate Map" box in the route planner.
Would be nice to search with GPS coordinates as in Google Maps

I can see the problem, thanks for flagging it up. I'm not sure there is much we can do about this in the short term, as we only store the town and country for each route, but we can review this as part of future changes to the site.

Also having this issue
I live in Southeastern Minnesota. The city in my area is Rochester, Minnesota.
I use the "keep me logged in" option. When I go to "plotaroute.com", I see some route suggestions at the bottom of the page that mention "Rochester." But, when I click on them, and see the map, I don't recognize any of the street names, names of places, or layout of the roads. It seems some of these are for Rochester, New York.
It's a minor issue, and low priority, but I think worth reporting. It's annoying to click on a route suggestion and find it is not anywhere near me.
