Hi Martyn - sorry, I missed your first post.  There is no need to sign in to Paypal to make a payment, you can pay by card in the normal way you would on any other site by clicking the 'Pay with Debit or Credit Card' button below the Login button, as shown below.  We're not set up to handle payments in any other way I'm afraid.

Aside from the US based payment screen, Paypal has pages and pages of Terms and Conditions to wade through before a payment can be made.  I'm keen to renew my Premium membership but would just like to pay with my card in the normal way... (even happy to send a cheque!)

I started the process for renewing my Premium Membership but could not see how to simply make a payment using a bank card.  Everytime I try, I get routed to a Paypal screen based in the US that asks for personal details over and above those usually need to buy by credit card.  Maybe this was the case when I first took out Premium Membership a year ago and perhasp I've just become more sensitive in the mean time but I'm not at all comforatable about giving private details to companies based in the US and sharing details with Paypal when I don't want to open an account with them.

Is there any alternative way to keep up my Premium Membership?
