Where a route go across a crossroads junction, you currently get a 'continue' message and straight ahead arrow, whic is fine.
It would be useful if these resulted in a turn warning message when downloading to Garmin.
It is good to know before you get to a junction that the direction is straight on.
Anyone know how this can be done - would be really useful?
What I am looking to do is where there is a cattle grid or some such thing on a plotted route that a warning comes up on the Garmin - any way of marking this on the map so when its loaded into Garmin it will altert the rider?
If you add an extra direction to the route with a straight on arrow it should produce a coursepoint at that location in the TCX or FIT file when you download it - Garmin devices use coursepoints to generate alerts. You can also add a symbol or label to the directions at this point - this will also generate a coursepoint in the download file.
