Choice of Map and Units When SharingFORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

Over the last few months we've been making a lot of changes behind the scenes to support the continued growth of the website, which is now used in over 150 countries around the world by tens of thousands of people each month. Throughout 2017 we plan to continue to update the site with new features and enhancements, taking into account as much as possible the feature requests that have proven most popular. To kick this off we have just implemented an enhancement that allows you to specify the map type and distance units that you would like to be used when people look at a route you've shared - this will override the recipient's own preferences when the route is initially displayed, although they can of course change the map type and units at any time once the map has loaded.
