Today is the first anniversary of the launch of plotaroute.com. We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has used and supported the site over the last 12 months. Without your support the site wouldn't be here today.  The feedback we've received has been amazing, with many people saying it's the best route planner on the web. This is fantastic to hear and we want to continue to enhance the site with many of the great suggestions you've given us. We started on 1st January 2014 with zero users and the site is now used by tens of thousands of people from 114 different countries around the world every month. Over 23,000 routes have been mapped and saved on the database, many of which have been shared on social media, email and other websites, and thousands more routes are now being added every month.

We've continued to develop and improve the site since its launch, with regular announcements throughout the year introducing new features. These are some of the highlights of 2014:
