Auto route creation, Route not aligned with road?FORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

Sorry Michael, I'm a bit confused.  Are you saying that routes created using the "Make Me a Route" feature don't follow the roads prcesiely or that this happens when you download routes from Strava and upload them to plotaroute?  Can you give me an example of a route where this is happening please?

First time plotaroute user here and have created a profile and uploaded some of my existing Kent based rides which I had stored in my Strava Route Builder Account....After playing with the automatic route creation, I've noticed that the actual route seems not to follow the road and the guide lines are showing corners cut or along fields ajacent to the road route itself....would this screw up a ride if I was to load it into my Mio Cyclo 505 unit and cause me to make random turns and follow navigation into fields?

I can't seem to find a way to minimise this happening, the routes I have uploaded are spot on as they were on the road only and there don't appear to be any sudden shortcuts etc, however this appears to be on the auto created loop route I made today.
