Popular Routes
Hi - I'm afraid it's difficult for me to answer that. My guess is that it the Auto-Route will work fine on this road in the summer. Have you tried changing the map type to see if this helps, as different map types use different routing services?

Hi, I am getting a similar issue. I think I know why in my case, I want to plot a route over Stelvio Pass in Italy, and I suspect that the road is closed right now due to the weather, so it will not let it route along it. Would that be the case? Will I be able to auto-route along it once the road is open again in summer? Since the road must exist in the auto-routing system, is it possible to just ignore the fact that it is currently closed?
Thanks!
Hi, yes I was using the 'paths' map. Many thanks for your suggestions - I will give them a try.
Are you using the Paths map? Unfortunately there are occasionally paths shown on the map that are not recognised by the routing services we use, so it you would need to turn off the Auto-Plot switch if this happens untik you reach a new path or switch to the default Map (or Satellite view) and try with this one.
I have now had two occurances when I have been mid way plotting a route. I want to then go down a different path and the marker will either not move, or if I try clicking ahead - it jumps in a different direction. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Any suggestions what I can do to prevent it happening again?
