Popular Routes
Hi,
you can't. They indicate the number of km/miles of the route.
Kind regards
how to delete the circle things with numbers? (1) (2) something-something hihi
Thanks John , I will try that next time and I note Les 1 problems which I have encountered and will try your advice on that
Jeff
Hi Jeffrey - you can either use the Delete Section feature or the Delete Homestretch feature (both under the Plot menu). If you're deleting from the start or end of the route the Delete Homestretch feature is the easiest one to use for this.
John
I had intend to create a circular road route but the route saved includes an addition 6 miles beyond start and end point. How do I delete this. ? I have tried the green and red markers option without success .They only seem to follow each other a few miles apart.
Thanks for your reply, I watched the video and gave it another go. I marked the start and end of a section I wanted to replot. I selected autoplot to 'by road' and moved the middle waypoint. The new route was drawn and I confirmed. The route then reverted back to a straght line between the two points. I don't know what went wrong but I tried it a second time and it did work.
Hi Les - it sounds like you have the Drag Mode switch turned on. This is only for tweaks to very short sections of the route (hence why the red and green markers follow each other when you drag them). You need to use the Replot Section feature under the Plot menu. You'll also need to turn the Auto-Plot switch on as well to automatically replot the section on roads.
Have a look at our tutorial video on Editing Routes - this demostrates how to do it.
I've been trying for ages to delete and replot a middle section of route I've created. I am experiencing two problems: firstly I cant move either the red or green circle without the other following so I can very the length of the selection. Secondly, each time I delete a section I end up with a crows fly straight line between the two points and nothing seems to work to get the section replotted via a road.
I think this 'feature' either doesn't work or requires more instruction or a different operation to make it more useable.
Thanks
