The Edit marker can only be dragged to points you have plotted on the route (vertexes on the line).  Try dragging it a bit further along the route to see if it moves.  If there isn't a point at the exact location where you want to place the marker, use the Drag Mode feature (switch at top of map) to fine tune it and drag the points to where you want them.

So far, so good. The edit Marker says Drag Me! And the hand goes into a clenched fist. Looks great. Except.... I can't seem to drag it. Left mouse button down, drag drag drag...nothin. Am I not quite getting it? I'll be the first to admit I am no expert. Sorry. John

Sorry it should have read "Drag the Edit marker" not "Drag the Add Here marker".  We've corrected this now.

Maybe I'm blind, but I cannot find the "Add Here" marker.

We've found the problem and put in a fix,  so it should be working OK now - let us know if not.  Thanks again for flagging this up.

Looks like a bug has crept in somehow.  Thanks for flagging this up.  We'll get it fixed and report back here when it's done.

The interface seems to suggest that I can add my own directions to a list of generated directions: "To add new directions, drag the 'Add Here' marker to the required position on the map". I can't find anything that looks like an 'Add Here' marker. What does it look like? Or is it missing for some reason? (Chrome 46.0.2490.86 (64-bit))
