Holly Glen - Industrial (Eastern) El Segundo
Though plotted as a single route, this trip consists of two separate loops - one through industrial El Segundo (west of Sepulveda/PCH), the other through residential Holly Glen.
Unfortunately not a very scenic route. But, a couple of positive aspects are (1) the very light-to-non existent weekend vehicular traffic along the industrial portion of this course, and (B) the course has a minimal change in elevation.
The residential loop minimizes the number of right intersecting street crossings as you traverse that portion of the route.
Should a brief break be sought prior to concluding this ride, consider stopping at Glasgow Park, which forms the eastern flank of this route.
At nearly nine-and-a-quarter miles, a good workout can be had conveniently and easily.
