Upon exiting Head of steam, walk past the Sure Start Centre on your left
Turn left onto McNay Street
Walk towards the main road
North Road Railway Station will be on your left
Turn right on High Northgate and cross at the pedestrian island
Once on the opposite side go down the path between 126 and 124 High Northgate
This will take you to the cycle path alongside the River
Turn left and you can walk along towards Haughton Road
Pass under the Railway bridge, heading towards North Road retail park
Once you have passed under the footbridge turn left and rejoin the cycle path heading back towards the main road
cross over the A167 at the main road and walk back towards the railway bridge
