Netherton Circular
Medium Walk - From the start, the walk goes down Spring Wood to Mag Bridge then alongside the stream to the steps and up through the tunnel under the rail track to Upper Park Wood Nature Reserve. The roiute then heads off to Armitage Bridge via Stirley Farm and Berry Brow football field. The last section of this part of the walk takes you back to the start up through Mag Wood where its possible to meet up with any short walkers.
Short Walk -This section goes along the top path in Spring Wood to the old part of Netherton before turning back down the road and then left onto the path alongside Mag Brook. After a short stetch on this path the route turns up into Spring Wood and then heads along paths back to the start. The climb back through the wood is not too difficult.
