Park in the Outwoods car park. Head right down the paths (Nanpanten direction) find the “Permissive Path” gate and head up the path, bear left into the field and cross to the tricky rocky steep slope. Head into the woods and bear right down to the lower woods/brook bridge. Cross the bridge and bear left follow the path adjacent to the brook (thru 2 gates ?) until you reach the last gate that crosses the stream. Head up the steep path to Deans Lane. Cross Deans Lane into the Beacon gate and continue up the path to the top of tree lined section with the bird viewing tower. Run the outer path to the Beacon upper car park and then take the outer path down to the lower car park and head back to the Outwoods car park. Approx 5 miles
