Starting at Hadrian's Wall Campsite, Walking to the B6318 (Military Road), crossing the road then heading to the Roman Military Way via Sheldon on the Wall. Dropping on to the Roman Military Way, and following the path past the Bogle Hole. Then as the path comes to a fork in the trail, take the Left, dropping onto the Pennine Way via Milecastle 41 and following the Pennine Way, passing Milecastle 40 (Winshields), Steel Rigg overflow parking, Peel Gap, and Peel Crags. Coming to Milecastle 39 (Castle Nick) and following the trail to Sycamore Gap (Robin Head Tree). Then cutting from the Pennine Way trail, back to the Roman Military Way trail, and following the trail back to Peel Gap. Staying on the Roman Military Way, passing Peel Cottage, the Bogle Hole and back to Sheldon on the Wall and dropping back on to the B6318 (Military Road). Then head back to Hadrian's Wall Campsite.
