Please follow the "Pink Trail Flags" for the 5K route. The Start line is at the Carman Dufferin Arena and the run proceeds South through King's Park on King's Road. Runners will cross PR 245 with the help of volunteers at the Dufferin Museum. From there, runners will enjoy a combination of trails and roads as they wind through a residential area. The first water station will be available as you emerge from the trail after Carman's "Steep Hill". Watch out for a brief period of 2-way runner traffic on the trail. After crossing the historic trestle bridge, the 5K route will split from the 10k route and turn left (North) to head towards Ecole Carman Elementary School. At the lit cross walk by the school runners will cross PR 245 with the help of our amazing volunteers. The course will take participants through another residential neighbourhood and at Memorial Hall they will rejoin the 10K route. Runners will head North into our downtown where they will find their second water station by Ryall Park. Runners will finish the course running parallel to Centre Avenue W on the pathway, turning left (South) onto King's Road and into the Finish Line Chute.
