2016 Tunnel To Towers Buffalo
While we will figuratively “follow in the footsteps of a hero” – Stephen Siller, the event is to honor and remember all those lost on 9/11 and those from our area lost in the wars since that day.
The run/walk is intended as a community, family friendly event. While there will be competition between firefighters, police, EMS, military and other teams, we want everyone to feel welcome to come and participate at their own pace. The route is 5K (3.1 miles).
The event will be on September 10th, 2016 with the run/walk starting at 9:00 am behind the First Niagara Center.
