Stockton Library To Tees Barrage North Side

Meet at Stockton Library entrance. Travel left towards the footbridge over the main road. Walk over the bridge then travel left along the river Tees. Carry on under the Diana Bridge, follow the path that runs along he back of the boat club and along the then carry on along the river. Pause at the Infinity Bridge, use footpaths on the left to access the bridge - do not cross the bridge - walk back to the North side footpath then travel down stream along the river towards the barrage. Follow the path to the barrage, passing under the barrage bridge remaining on the north side of the river. (If time allows an extra walk can be carried on a little further downstream the river towards Portrack marshes for photo opportunities of the barrage the barrage). Walk up the footpaths to the left to walk around the whitewater course, returning to the barrage. Return walk along the same route, heading upstream along the river to the footbridge. Cross the footbridge, turning right once across to return to the library.
