Arrived at the Moynihan Train Station approx 3:45pm. Got disorientated looking for the Fairfield Inn & Suites (the correct one was only 200yds from where we exited the station! Spent the next hour walking up 8th to 40th (1st hotel) and then across to 7th and down on to 28th heading towards 6th (2nd hotel). Helpful receptionist told us which on we were booked into! Walked back up 7th to 33rd (actually just a pedestrian walkway around the side of the Madison Gardens Stadium ...past the point we'd originally exited the station and along to the hotel (opposite the entrance to the Moynihan Train Station). Checked in and set off for the northern end of the High Line at approx 4.30pm. Walked the full length of the High Line stopping off at the Chelsea Market for tacos at Los Tacos (approx 5:30pm/6:00pm). Walked to the end of the High Line (by the Whitney Museum)and walked across to the Hudson River Parkway. Walked down as far as Chambers Street (where it switches to the Battery Park Walkway). Walked east along Cambers St past City Hall to Brooklyn Bridge. Strolled across the bridge (very busy with pedestrians) as night fell. Fab views across to Harlem, back to Manhattan and up the Harlem River. Got to Juliana's Pizza Restaurant (Fulton St Brooklyn Heights) about 7:45pm. Short wait to get in. Left about 9:30pm and walked to the subway (C line) @ High St (in Cadman Plaza Park). Direct line back to 34th/8th. Short walk back to the hotel via a CVS for water.

About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
