A lowered section of curb outside of the Friary entrace, or across the street, with bollards flanking either side, would allow people more easily coming down North Street, to dismount the road much more safely.
Currently - I either go the wrong way down the road, in the direction of the Zero Waste centre (unless buses or taxis are coming, and pull up. Or Mount the pavement, diagonally across the zebra crossing. Neither of which feel safe, inviting or appropraite. But there is no other safe alternative.
