Dymock Woods (dog Walking And Exploration)
This is loop through Dymock Woods (accessible thanks to the Forestry Commission) which is entirely off-road and ideal for dog walking, or for some other woodland adventure.
This loop follows the main path through the woods with a detour around the central pond.
The route can easily be extended, shortened or amended by exploring other paths through the woods. The main path that leads to the northern car park is marked with green markers, and red markers denote detours that return to the main route. There are many smaller unmarked paths to explore too, but do take care as it is easy to get lost.
The woods is a working forest and at times the Forestry Commission may be undertaking works, please follow any signs or guidance you see.
Note that deer and muntjac frequent the woodland, and this may be an issue for some dogs.
