• Leave Cafe car park direction Stannybrook Rd
• Straight across to towpath directly opposite
• Follow towpath over motorway and continue until reach a gate onto a road
• Left on road & keep left to reach Littlemoss Rd
• Left towards Daisy Nook & continue back to Cafe
• Pass through and follow route of old canal past the high wall on left
• Where it opens out, turn right and briefly climb up to high path (route of Tour X-Trail)
• Follow path all the way to Oldham Rd (at small car park)
• Left briefly on Oldham Rd then left back down to the canal towpath
• Follow along to reach Sammy’s Basin where path swings left and down
• Follow path back to Cafe
