Walk 2 from the 'South Dartmoor Pub Walks' book by Bossiney Books. A moorland and forest walk (though you never feel enclosed by woodland), mainly by defined paths but the bit after the aqueduct gets a bit nebulous. It is less steep than most moorland routes, and has much of historical interest as well as magnificent views. Crazy Well Pool is not on the original walk but is well worth the short diversion and is a great place to rest for a snack.
