MG- 2 Doves/Staples Cafe Via Erdig Park

This route is a hilly one taking in many river crossings and small country lanes and is a longer & hillier version of another Plaseey ( staples cafe )route ( not ideal for winter ride) but goes through Erdig Park as well.
The route is deliberately plotted via Staples cafe at Plaseey caravan park 33 miles & then passes the Two Doves cafe in Overton for an optional choice at 37 miles. Going via Plessy / Staples keeps our use of the A539 to 3/4 mile, as opposed to 3 miles direct to Two Doves via A539 & a lot more interesting. However we still have to do 3 miles on the A528, but it is not a bad fast A road.
The route then deliberately goes the interesting way to Tilston in order to provide a 2nd cafe stop at either Manorwood.

Do not be tempted to extent this route slightly, by a mile, toward New Brighton at 23 miles, up through ‘Stryt Y Weira’ lane, as it is a 19% bumpy narrow track lane that is often a mess and therefore no good if wet. Just not worth the trouble hence, this route cuts across just below into a series of interesting lanes down to Rueban, which is the only way through to be honest, withou adding a lot of miles to the cafe stop.
