Follow the perimeter path from the Golf club, past Woodlands centre and Castle green to Cuddy point, turn up into woods just after the gate, head uphill, follow path to T junction, turn left uphill, follow path until reach bottom of Gallows hill, it then gets steep as path climbs to top, circular path around top, take same path down and same way back to Cuddy Point and return to Golf Club .
Track type: Gravel or tarmac, mostly good wide path or road, steep in parts
Hazards: walkers, cyclists, dogs, steep downhill section on gravel if cycling
Highlights: Fantastic views from Gallows hill
Facilities: Easy parking, nearest bus stop opposite Co-op, toilet at Golf club or Woodlands centre
