The route consists of three laps of Victoria Park. From the start near the main gates on Victoria Park Drive North the course bears left at the bottom of the main avenue of trees and goes through the formal gardens and around the boating pond. The route continues west along the path near the park perimeter towards the Fossil Grove and along the narrow crazy paved path which runs parallel with the dual carriageway. It then turns right, up a slight incline and at the top of the incline the course turns right and back in an easterly direction towards the main avenue of trees. Once there that’s the first lap done. Repeat this twice. The final lap of the course turns left just before the formal gardens and then winds round again to the left to finish on the straight on the park perimeter near the start.

About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
