MG - Cleopatra’s Flat Loop Via Threapwood
This has a small loop of little lanes around Threapwood for something different, which are good to be fair. we can also stop at Commonwood farm cafe, if want a change from Cleo’s, as Commonwood is only a mile from Holt.
This route is good in bad weather as well.
If there is a still southerly wind then it’s wise to start via Tattenhall and up through Carden park to Tilston as there is good cover, then and pick up the route in Tilston.
It’s easy to miss the right turn to Worthenbury ( Mulsford lane, on the bottom of the route and end up on Queensford lane, which is never any good because the farm down there absolutely wrecks the lane with mud and very pot holed around the farm, so avoid at all costs.
