Itchen Meander
At about 5.5Km you pass Old Town Farm on the Knightcote to Bishops Itchington road. The published maps have the footpath going down the drive of Old Town Farm and out into the field then straight across the next field. We were advised by a resident that the path had been diverted. This was supported by new waymarkers which take the route shown here - carrying on a little further down the road then cutting into the field and following the road along the hedge line to re-join the original path where it crosses the road near The Woodlands.
There has been substantial new housing development on the edge of Bishops Itchington such that most of the last 1Km is through the village - but the footpaths have been preserved.
