Starting from The Poachers first Peak Nab Head it’s an up and down as the race route is not a Public footpath.
Then it’s to Beaston Mount and up to Long Lane cutting through the usually muddy field to the Swamp, once navigated making our way to the canal. On the canal making our way to Beahive Bridge and up to the field with the wooden bridge, Cross the field and up the Rally Road.
A Quick breather and cross the Road to the path by the side of the quarry onto the path to White Nancy, but first it’s to Kerridge ridge and down the ski slope another change from the race .Now doubling back on the path at bottom.
Last peak White Nancy the last climb (mandatory Photo) at the top.
Choice of Route down woodland steps stone steps or steep decent.
Now all back to the Poachers.

About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
