Ixworth 2
Turn left and then take the bridleway on the left opposite Abbey Close.
Near the top of the hill turn left onto a grassy track which takes you to two copper beeches.
The track becomes a firm path before reaching Heath Lane where you turn left.
Cross the main road (A143) with care and climb the hill up Cutters Lane and on to Thieves Lane passing Pakenham Windmill.
Reaching Fen Road turn left and then left again into Mill Road, home of Pakenham Watermill.
Continue to the A143. Follow the path to the left then cross with care to enter the southern end of the High Street.
Continue up the street until you reach the turning the village hall.
