This walk starts with a fairly heft hill. Keep going up the hill and you'll come to an open gate with signage saying "Private Road, Canwell Estate, Access to Frontages da da da" - just keep going. The landscape opens out and you'll pass a field on the right. After passing the first house on the left you should see a path to the right that runs adjacent to some cottages and outbuildings. Take this path which turns into a track after about 50m. Follow the track until you see the first stile leading into the field on your right. Through this field leads to the top of the valley! Walk down through the valley, over another stile at the bottom and then a further stile at the end of this next "meadow". Take the next stile on your right and follow this track all the way back to the start. The map is pretty good, but these instructions are just in case.
