Want to check how steep the hills are on your route? Well, now you can with our new hill gradient chart.

We've upgraded our hill profile charts to give you the option to switch between the default elevation profile or percentage gradient.

Click on the HILLS option in the route planner to display the elevation profile for your route, then you can toggle between this chart and the gradient chart by clicking on the "E | %" switch shown below.

This new chart is available in our route planner, our mobile route player and our animated embedded maps.

Clicking the Hills option for me sends the map into the Pacific Ocean where I have to find my way back, rather unwieldy. Bug?

Thanks for flagging this up Maryka. However, I can't seem to be able to reproduce the problem. Would you be able to give me some more information about the circumstances under which the problem happens please?
