Thanks for that, much appreciated.

This mislabelled distance markers in the downloaded Google Earth kml files have now been fixed.
Thanks for clarifying that Pat - I had misunderstood the problem. We'll get that fixed as soon as we can.

Thanks for the quick response John.
Just to clarify, the kml markers end up in the right place but with the wrong distance indicated - so if when plotting the route there are 20 distance markers at 8km intervals, then there will also be 20 distance markers appearing at 8km intervals in the kml. But on opening the kml file in Google Earth, the 8km marker is labelled as '1 km', the 16km marker as '2 km' etc.
Thanks again and other than this very impressed with plotaroute.

Hi Pat - thanks for the feedback. I'll bundle this with your other post about distance markers so we can consider them together. The distance markers on the map are spread out so as not to show too many at one time, thereby masking the route. We felt that this wasn't necessary for kml downloads though as we assumed that the routes would be viewed when zoomed in, so that's why the distance marker intervals at set at 1km/mile in the kml file. We'll look into the possibility of adding an option so you can choose how often you woukld like the distance markers to show.

I am creating routes of around 150 - 200km, and including distance markers. They appear correctly on the map (beginning by showing every 1km; but then as the route grows longer the interval increases until it is 8km for my routes). But when I download the kml they appear as 1km intervals. e.g. if my route is 165km, there will be 20 distance markers (at 8, 16, 24...160km). But in the kml download they appear as 1km, 2km, 3km etc.
