  Thanks for picking me up on this, which allows me to put forward a major advantage of Visorando: 
  
  Topographic maps are free to use on the PC/browser version of the website!
  You only need to sign up (via the link if you want your Plotaroute account linked, or by creating a separate account).

  Premium additionally gives you access to those maps on the app, to have the same map layers when planning your trip at home and outdoors following your route.

  For your first question, Mark is correct: If you are looking for an app that allows you to record your track, please consider trying out Visorando.

  About the OS Maps question, I have an answer and a question.
  Answer: Yes, Plotaroute Premium users can link their account to Visorando and they'll automatically get the Premium status on Visorando. Visorando Premium does include access to several topographic maps on the app, like Ordnance Survey Leisure Maps.
  Question: You wrote that Visorando asks you for an additional subscription. Is this still the case? I just checked your Visorando account and the Premium status is active, so I hope the issue is resolved. :)

  That is definitely a question for Julien/PR!! I have not tried to link to Visorando yet.

  Perhaps you could also clarify whether as a premium subscriber to PlotaRoute that should also give me access to OS maps on Visorando? At the moment it seems to be asking me to sign up for an additional subscription!

  Check out the Visorando app, maybe that does ....

  Is PlotaRoute capable to recording a track without having previously loaded a route. If so, how is this done?
