I just came across a weird quirk, where if you look at current elevation while navigating a route my elevation is consistently 40-50m above what it should be.
Looking deeper into the issue, I discovered that most gps systems use a theoretical spheroid called wgs84 to calculate altitude, but that the UK, where I am, uses mean sea level, and that this is most likely whatis causing the discrepency.
Is there a way for you to adjust elevation data within the UK to use mean sea level to make it consistent with local measurements?
