Iphone App that will include custom directions in turn by turn instructions

  Hi,

  I've created some custom directions in plot-a-route and would like to export a GPX to an iphone app which will include the directions I have added in the turn by turn instuctions. Ideally I would like to do this with Komoot so I could get a bit more detail than just the turn left or turn right.

  For example in areas where I have identified that navigation is tricky I would like to add something like "Make sure you take the left of the two gates here".

  I can add the custom direction in Plot-a-Route but can't seem to get Komoot to pick it up. I think it may create it's own directions after import rather than using the ones in the GPX file.

  I would be very interested to hear if anyone has had success in doing this with any iphone app.

  Hi Chris,

  It's been nearly a year since you posted this topic, but as I announced recently, I'm trying to get to every unanswered post.

  I don't have an answer to your question, but as you probably know, Visorando has it's own app and we're working on implement the Plotaroute route engine.
  I'm going to ask the devs if custom directions will be available during navigation as well.
