When planning an expedition to the far north, Orkney & Shetland, I would like to keep family updated with the route, from home. Given this entails using trains & ferries, it would great if I could Autoroute by those using the Transport Map.
Is that possible/an easy implementation/desirable?!

OK, just wondered if the OSM database for "Transport Map" was routable, like roads, paths etc. Worth asking!

Funnily enough, the Kirkwall, Orkney to Lerwick, Shetland ferry is routable! It's tagged as part of the EuroVelo 12, the North Sea Cycle Route!
