Jim, I think that link will resolve this for you. Indeed, one of PR's best features is the ability to easily tweak existing routes.

Try the Reshape Route tool Jim - this is best for small edits. You can see a demo of this in our tutorial video on Editing Routes.

To plot a route roughly at first then refine later by making small adjustments and adding points where necessary. I used to use Viewranger for this which was excellent.

However it doesn't seem possible to do this here. I can drag the start and end points, but no others, and can't seem to add any intermediate points.

I realise there are some editing tools, but for numerous small adjustments to a route they are terrible to use and really don't work well.

I hope there is something I'm missing.
