Thanks for that feedback Martyn. We're working on some changes to the club pages right now, so can look into those points (see New Features for Clubs).
With regard to sorting routes in the Club Member Routes section, this is already possible - you just need to click on the column headings. We'll make that clearer in the next update.
I've explored the club page further adding routes to both the public and members areas.
First, a bug. I added a route to both areas. I realy only wanted it in the public area so I tried to remove the route from the members area but the system deleted the route from the public area instead!
Secondly, to refirm my earlier observation regarding finding the routes I want to feature. The table for selecting the routes lacks the ability to sort and it does not show the IDs. I now have hundreds of routes. Locating the ones I want is painful. For each one, I have to come out of clubs and go into My Routes to look up the titles and find a word that I can include in a search in the clubs list. Exasperating! I can't quite understand why the functionality here needs to be different to the listing in My Routes... maybe even use the same code? (And, as I noted before, being able to select on tags would be especially helpful.)
Finally, ordering the lists is cumbersome. For each shift, it's necessary to click the menu button and select e.g. 'Move Down'... then locate the item in its new position in the list and repeat over and over until the route is in the desired location. It's so easy to make a mistake (e.g., hit the 'remove' rather than the 'move up' option.) Drag and drop, perhaps, or, if not, there must surely be an easier way?
Thanks for that feedback Martyn and the suggestions. Sorry, there was a step missing from the instructions! That's been added now.
Many thanks. It was the 'LOAD MEMBERS' label on the button that completely threw me. I thought it was for adding members to the club. A different label, perhaps, and an extra line or two on the help page (effectively adding your response to me)? I've viewed a number of random clubs and it does not look like anyone has worked out how to add routes!
Can I also suggest being able to search on tags when finding routes to feature. (One of my tags identifies a set of routes which broadly corresponds to a particular club.)
And, finally, it took me a while to discover the 'Load More' button at the bottom of the select list. Unless this is clicked, the map will only show the routes currently retrieved which was very puzzeling.
Hi Martyn - you need to go to the CLUB MEMBER ROUTES section at the bottom of the page and click on LOAD MEMBERS. Then you can choose a club member to view their routes and select the one you'd like to add to the Featured Routes.
I've set up a club page and I've read the 'Help' information but I cannot see where to click to add routes. I've gone to Club Admin>Manage Club Members and clicked on my entry but the options shown in the 'Help' do not appear:
