Hi Harp,
It's best to use Chrome to install on Android, as some features may not work if you install it with other browsers.
To install the app, go to https://www.plotaroute.com/mobile (make sure you are signed out first when you do this) then from the Chrome menu (3 dots) select "Add to Home screen".

While not logged into my Plotaroute account, when using Firefox on an Android phone I go to https://www.plotaroute.com/mobile as suggested below, then click on the 'Mobile App' link almost at the bottom of that page. This takes me to https://www.plotaroute.com/mobile/mobileapp/, where I can see an "INSTALL NOW" button. When I click on that button, I end up back at https://www.plotaroute.com/mobile and hence in a loop. From Firefox I can indeed add Plotaroute to my homepage, but that simply seems to be a shorcut to a browser version rather than the installation. Indeed, doing it that way, Plotaroute is not listed among my apps. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks for that feedback Tony. We'll update the instructions to try to make it clearer. For anyone else having trouble, the app can only be installed from the following page (while signed out): https://www.plotaroute.com/mobile

I got it to work. For anyone having this issue type unknown in the search of your android settings to locate the unknown apps part. Let chrome have access. Then, since the bookmark you create is wrong (it is default to plotaroute.com/mobile/mobileapps or something) open a browser and just type in plotaroute.com/mobile manually and it should pop up to download.
plotaroute folks, the instructions you have are good but the bookmark you create adds another /mobileapps or something and that doesn't seem to pull the app.

I go through the instructions, tried installing a new browser, restarted phone as well. Can't get the mobile app on my phone for some reason.
