Excellent, all working perfectly. Thanks for fixing so quickly!
We've found the problem with this and have put in a fix, so it should be working OK now.
Hi Daniel - apologies, you're right, there does seems to be a wider problem with these two keyboard shortcuts. We'll look into it and see if we can get that fixed.
Hi Admin,
Thanks for replying. I don't think the browser I'm using is the issue. The shortcuts it uses are defined here: https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032272171-What-keyboard-shortcuts-can-I-use-in-Brave-. None of them are control-U or control-L. There are mac keyboard shortcuts for control-L and control-H (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201236). If the mac-shortcut is the issue, it is odd that control-H works for me but control-L does not. Perhaps they are defined differently.
Either way, having a working toggle autoplot keybinding would be REALLY useful.
There are numerous occasions where the map data isn't good enough (e.g. foot paths don't connect properly) and autoplot will try to plot a ludicrous deviation. For this use case I'd really like to switch autoplot off, get past the map issue, and then put it back on again. Even a letters only short cut (u) would be great.
Thanks,
Daniel
Interestingly, I couldn't and can't get it to work with Chrome
Colin
Hi Daniel - thanks for the feedback. It's possible that the browser you're using has assigned these shortcuts for other purposes. We've tried to choose shortcuts that are available in all the mainstream browsers but it's not really feasible to cater for every browser out there as they are all different. We generally recommend using the site with Chrome.
Hi,
I'm using the Brave browser on a Mac and I find the CTRL-U and CTRL-L for toggle autoplot and lock don't work, whilst other short cuts such as CTRL-Z and CTRL-H do.
Thanks,
Daniel
Phew, not age catching up this time!
Thanks
You're right! Sorry, we'll get that fixed. Thanks for flagging this up.
Hi,
The shortcuts for "zoom in to whole route" and "zoom out to playback" on my PC are control-up and control-down, and zoom in and zoom out are control - left and control-right. Seem to be mixed up, or am I mixed up? Wouldn't be the first time!
Thanks
Colin
