Hi Dean,
That's an interesting suggestion. Are you referring to the route planner - showing a default map with annotations that you've added? There isn't any way to annotate the existing base maps, but as a workround you could create a route and add symbols or labels to it to mark things of interest and then use this route as a template when plotting a new one.

Hi all, is it possible to have a start up screen personal to you?
it would be very helpfull to place landmarks, or starting points of trails as well as notes on trails that are good or bad.
