Thank you. I thought I had done that because that is mentioned in another posting. I was correct then, I was being thick. Ho hum!
Hi Capt - you need to click on the Map Type box rather than just move your mouse over it. This will then display more informatipn about each Map Type, along with a link to the Cycle Map key.
Thank you all
Hi - It might be that I'm just being a bit thick (it happens) but I can't find the cycle map key link in the Map Types panel. Could someone point out where on the screenshot it's supposed to be? The link: https://www.openstreetmap.org/key doesn't show the blue dashed line on the left of the screenshot either. I'm sure there is a simple explanation :) Thanks Capt

Hi Trevor - you just need to click on the Map Type selector (rather than hoving over it to display the map type options). This will bring up a panel with more details about the different map types, including a link to the cycle map key.
John
I can get the cycle map ok but I need the legend to see what the different colours on tracks mean & the symbols for the map. Around Ledbury near Hereford there is a cycle track with red block squares on it & I cannot find what this means, I have tried the legend on OSM but it is not listed.
To get the key for the Cycle map, click on the Map Type selector and you'll see the Key link next to the Cycle Map button.
How do I find cycle map legend
