How do I download a route from plotaroute to my Garmin eTrex

  Once I have plotted a route on this site, how do I transfer it as gpx file to my Garmin eTrex?

  Hi Julia - You should be able to just download the route as a GPX Track and then copy the file to the GARMIN/GPX folder on your device.

  Why cant I save a map in GPX format?

  There are only JPG, PNG and PDF options.

  You can download a route in GPX format when viewing a route on the main information page for the route or when editing it in the route planner.  Chose Download from the menu when viewing a route (or from the action panel on the map if editing it in the route planner) and then click "Download to a File" and select "GPS" and "GPX".  You can easily find routes you recently viewed on your home page.

  Ок, found it, thanx.

  What about the app for Iphone, also cant find it to upload this rout... :(

  Would be a shame not to use it via mobile, since I dont have a GARMIN yet.

  We don't have a native app for the iPhone yet (we do hope to at some point) but we do have a mobile-friendly version of the site, which you should be redirected to automatically when you access the site on a mobile device, but if not just click on the Mobile Site link at the bottom of the page.
