You can install Bike Tracker PC Ability on an Android phone to guide you. You can amend the direction text in Plotaroute and Bike Tracker will read out whatever it says.
See this forum note https://www.plotaroute.com/posts/2195/D/1
You need to store tcx files in the right folder on the phone and it will work. Lots of tweaks in Bike Tracker to give you instructions and feedback you want.
It's completely free and works very well
Unfortunately the Google Maps app doesn't support importing of detailed pre-planned routes.
It would be super helpful if as I was running the route I could be using audio navigation.
Is there a way of making that work?
If I use google maps as my route map will SIRI talk me through it?
Thanks for your fast reply.
The vibration codes make it possible to feel the directions. I juist have the phone in my hand and don't listen, don't look, just feel what to do. :)

Hi Hans - thanks for your nice feedback about the site. I'm glad you're finding it useful.
We are hoping to introduce a mobile app at some point with navigation features but I'm not sure how soon this will be yet. Thanks for your suggestion about buzzer/vibrator codes though - we will try to incorporate this when we come to do the app.

Hi, thank for a superb plotting tool. I'm travelling a lot with my camper and like to make walks in areas I'm not familiar with. I have no printer with me, just my smartphone.
Since my hearing starts to get less, I would love to have directions like google maps', where the buzzer/vibrator gives codes for left and right.
Is there any idea when this might be available?
Greetings, Hans
