Hi Guy - I can't seem to be able to reproduce the problem - the route planner plots over the bridge both ways when I try it with the Auto-Plot feature set to "By Road". Maybe I'm not looking at the same bridge - I tried it with Old Budeford Bridge. I'm not aware that road closures are taken into account when routing but it is possible. We use routing services from Google and Mapquest, depending on which map type you are using, so the routing algorithms are not under our control. However, if you do find that it won't let you Auto-Plot on a stretch of road you want, you can get get around this by turning the Auto-Plot feature off and plotting manually until you pass the road closure.

Your software normally allows me to go over a bridge which has recently been closed to traffic for the next six months but actually still lets cycles go over. I note that when I try to route this for a bike it won't let me and when I route as a walker it does. I therefore assume you have some sort of "roadworks" functionality. If this is the case how do I disable it? BTW I am talking about the bridge in Bidford on Avon England if you want to have a try! It normally works fine for me and is a key route. Thanks! Love your software and ad free set up.
