I'm afraid the contrast on the map isn't something we can change.

Is there a way to have more contrast between the background and the street or trail names? I know that when I use Terrain, there is more contrast than with the street maps. For the route I am working on now, Paths shows more of the area I need. People are complaining that they're having trouble reading the trail and street names.
Thanks!
Hi Marc - By waypoints do you mean symbols you've added to the route? You can hide these in the print version by switching them off on the map before selecting Print. The switches to toggle the display of any symbols you've added to the map are at the bottom on the map on the Route Planner and under the Options menu above the map on the Route Listing page.

How do you eliminate the way points in printing ?
Updates for this issue are now being posted in the following topic: Route lines not showing up in print outs of maps
I'm having the same problem for the last 3 weeks. It used to print out fine before then.
Hi Douglas - There is nothing special you need to do to print the route path, it should always print this. It could be a problem with your printer driver. What browser are you using? I would recommend trying a different browser to see if this helps.

I have tried to print the route but only the map and distance markers show on the printout. How do i print the map showing the rout that i jave plotted?
