Rusty Screws 7 Peak Challenge 2024

After The Rusty Screws Final Challenge last year where we raised over £6,800 for Ty Hafan, we have a new generation of Rusty Screws stepping up to continue HMP Cardiff's link with this fantastic organisation. With a team of 7 intrepid explorers (Staff) we're back in the mountains again with yet another 7 Peak Challenge.
This time we again aim to walk Ben Nevis, Scafel Pike, Snowdon (Yr Wydffa), Garnedd Ugain, Cadair Idris, Corn Du and Pen y Fan, a total distance of walking and driving of over 600 miles. All this again within 36 hours.
We'll be starting at the base of Ben Nevis at 5pm on Thursday 6th June, planning to finish at the bottom of Pen y Fan before 5am on Saturday 8th June. Everyone is welcome to join us for our final two peaks - Corn Du and Pen y Fan.
